About
The Employment Committee is responsible for overseeing employment matters within Lichfield Council. This includes setting the overall framework for staff pay and conditions, and having the power to employ staff. The committee also reviews policies on training and recruitment, and addresses employee issues such as Health & Safety. It plays a key role in designating senior officer positions, including the Head of Paid Service, Monitoring Officer, Section 151 Officer, and Chief Officers.
