The Lincolnshire Schools' Forum advises the Local Authority on the allocation of the Schools' Budget and proposed changes to funding formulae. It provides consultation on various matters related to school funding, including special educational needs, pupil referral units, early years provision, central government grants, and free school meals.

The forum's membership includes representatives from a wide range of educational groups within Lincolnshire, such as nursery, primary, and secondary schools (both maintained and academies), special schools, faith groups, and early years providers.
