Decision by the Executive Councillor for Resources:
That the Scheme for the purchase of fire appliances (Scheme) as detailed in the report, be approved.
Decision by the Executive Councillor for Community Safety:
a. That the undertaking of a procurement process for delivery of the Scheme to purchase the initial 9 vehicles for Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue and for a contract to commence in financial year 2026/27, plus extensions of up to 12 months to cover the build and delivery process be approved. The estimated total value of the contract is £3,420,000.
b. That authority be delegated to the Chief Fire Officer, in consultation with the Executive Councillor for Community Safety, to take all relevant decisions necessary to progress the Scheme up to and including determination of the final form contracts and the award and execution of those contracts, and any other documentation necessary to deliver the Scheme resulting from the procurement process.
