Executive Councillor: Children's Services approved the Lincolnshire Best Start in Life and Local Plan (2026-2031) on 06/07/2026. The plan includes expanding provision to four additional Family Hub sites, strengthening early intervention to reduce future demand on SEND and specialist health provision, and introducing new pilots for early language and speech and language access.

Executive Councillor for Resources and Executive Councillor for Environment approved the Cherry Willingham Fiskerton Road & Waterford Lane Surface Water Scheme. The scheme will be delivered in two phases, with the first phase involving the installation of a new box culvert under Fiskerton Road and improvements to existing drainage assets, and the second phase seeing a new bypass system installed. Authority was delegated to the Executive Director for Place to progress the scheme up to and including contract award.

Executive Councillor for Children's Services approved the council's special schools funding formula proposals for 2026/27. The formula aims to simplify funding arrangements, update funding levels to reflect current requirements, support special schools in meeting higher complex pupil needs, and support increasing place numbers.
