The Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority - Business and Infrastructure Board noted progress on the draft Housing Strategy and provided strategic direction on the proposed action plan on 01/07/2026. The Board endorsed the draft delivery plan for further refinement and recommended the final Housing Strategy be submitted to the Combined Authority for approval on 2nd September 2026. Specific actions include developing and prioritising a strategic housing pipeline, establishing a Strategic Place Partnership with Homes England, implementing the Brownfield Housing Fund programme, strengthening homelessness and rough sleeping coordination, initiating the Spatial Development Strategy, advancing a veterans' housing programme, undertaking work on a potential new settlement, aligning Local Growth Fund investment with housing priorities, and embedding programme monitoring and governance.

Councillor D East, Executive Councillor for Highways and Transport, approved the proposed waiting restrictions for Heckington, Church Street and St Andrews Street on 26 June – 30 June 2026. The Planning and Regulation Committee had previously recommended approval of the proposed Order on 15 June 2026. The approved order includes changing the part-time restriction on Church Street to No Waiting at Any Time, extending the No Waiting at Any Time on St Andrews Street, and introducing No Waiting at Any Time at the junction of Cameron Street, while revoking a small section of existing restrictions on Church Street.
