Decision
That the Executive:
- approve publication of the Proposed Submission LMWLP (Appendix A) and associated documents (Appendices B to K) for Regulation 19 consultation as to its soundness and legal compliance to commence by 15 June 2026 for a period of six weeks
- delegate to the Head of Planning in consultation with the Executive Councillor (Environment) authority to make any necessary non-material modifications (such as minor typographical corrections) to the Proposed Submission LMWLP, Policies Maps and other supporting documents prior to the publication of the Regulation 19 consultation.
- endorse the Proposed Submission LMWLP and supporting documents (Appendices A to K) and recommend to Full Council that it is approved for submission to the Secretary of State
- delegate to the Head of Planning in consultation with the Executive Councillor (Environment), authority to determine any modifications to the Proposed Submission LMWLP that should be submitted to the Secretary of State in order to address issues arising through the consultation exercise; and to recommend on behalf of the Executive to Full Council that such modifications be submitted to the Secretary of State alongside the Proposed Submission LMWLP
- delegate to the Head of Planning in consultation with the Executive Councillor (Environment) authority to determine any further modifications to be proposed to the Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State in order to address issues that arise during the examination in public; and
- delegate to the Head of Planning in consultation with the Executive Councillor (Environment) authority to produce any supplementary information that may be required as part of the examination process.
