Decision

  1. That the establishment of the Councillor Community Grant Fund (CCGF), to comprise of two funding streams namely, the Strategic Fund and the Divisional Grant with a total fund of £500,000, be approved.
  2. That the Councillor Community Grant Fund Guidance and Criteria document, as amended to include the suggestions of the Overview and Scrutiny Management Board, be adopted.
  3. That the allocation of £290,000 to the Strategic Fund and the remainder allocated to the Divisional Grant based on an allocation of £3,000 per electoral division, be approved.
  4. That authority be delegated to the Interim Executive Director – Resources, in consultation with the Executive Councillor for Community Engagement, to act as the Senior Responsible Officer (SRO) for the CCGF, and to take those decisions necessary to administer the Fund and award grants based on the amended guidance and criteria as set out in Appendix A.
