Decision

1. That the retrospective submission of a bid to the Department for Transport Structures Fund for grant funding of £24.73m towards the cost of the Langrick Bridge Scheme, as detailed in the report, be approved.
2. That consideration of the proposal to allocate £1.5m from the Highways Maintenance Capital Budget as a local contribution towards the Scheme costs, in the event that the grant funding bid is successful, be deferred and referred to the appropriate scrutiny committee for further consideration, supported by a separate report containing additional detail; and that a further decision be considered by Executive on 2 November 2026.
