To approve the procurement of a cloud-based IT solution bespoke to Bereavement Services.

Decision

To award a Direct Award via G Cloud 14 Framework Lot 2 (Cloud Software) to PlotBox to deliver a new IT Bereavement solution which has:

·         Funeral Director and Mason portal

·         Cemetery mapping (identify space, memorial safety plus supports end users find loved ones)

·         Integration into CivicaPay

·         Other efficiencies such as, auto renewals on memorials

·         Improved reporting functionality

·         More efficient use of staff time; modern and flexible ways of working

·         Increased staff satisfaction

·         Secure storage of financial and personal data to better meet GDPR

·         Ability to better manage users and their accounts

·         Become more digital, agile, and effective

·         Improve the standard and quality of service to users
