Purpose

Approve a contract for a
minimum of 10 years and a maximum of 15 years with Greater
Manchester Arts Centre for the management and operation of HOME
from 1 April 2025 with revenue support of up to a maximum of
£1,268,394 per annum.???
 
Approve a grant funding
agreement for a minimum of 10 years and a maximum of 12 years with
the National Football Museum from 1 April 2025 with revenue support
of up to a maximum of £1,200,00 in 2025/26 and up to a
maximum of £1,150,000 in 2026/27 and subsequent
years.

Decision

The
Executive:-
 

(1)      
Approve a contract for a minimum of 10 years and a
maximum of 15 years with Greater Manchester Arts Centre for the
management and operation of HOME from 1 April 2025 with revenue
support of up to a maximum of £1,268,394 per
annum.

(2)      
Approve a grant funding agreement for a minimum of
10 years and a maximum of 12 years with the National Football
Museum from 1 April 2025 with revenue support of up to a maximum of
£1,200,000 in 2025-26 and up to a maximum of £1,150,000
in 2026-27 and subsequent years.

(3)      
Delegate responsibility to the Strategic Director of
Neighbourhoods, City Treasurer and City Solicitor in consultation
with the Deputy Leader to negotiate and finalise the terms of the
arrangements.

(4)      
Authorise the City Solicitor to complete all
documents and enter into all agreements necessary to give effect to
the recommendations.
