Decision

That Cabinet:

1)     APPROVED the Thorpe Road Cemetery Regulations and Policy (Appendix A).

2)     APPROVED the reallocation of £30,000 funding currently set aside for a cemetery feasibility study, to supplement the existing £20,000 allocated for footpath removal, to deliver footpath removal works within Thorpe Road Cemetery and increase operational cemetery capacity.

3)     DELEGATED AUTHORITY to the Director for Housing and Communities, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Corporate Governance, Waste and Environmental Services, to make minor operational amendments to the policy and associated guidance where required.
