The Teesside Pension Fund Committee is responsible for the overall management and oversight of the Teesside Pension Fund, ensuring compliance with pension regulations and best practices. It determines the fund's aims, objectives, and strategies, including governance, funding, investment, administration, and communication. The committee also monitors the implementation of these policies and oversees the Borders to Coast Pension Partnership. It makes decisions on employers joining and leaving the fund, agrees bulk transfers, and approves business plans and the fund's financial statements. The committee also selects and monitors the fund's advisers and agrees responses to consultations affecting the Local Government Pension Scheme.
