About
The Cabinet is responsible for implementing council policies and discharging functions not assigned to other parts of the Council. It comprises eight county councillors, led by the Leader, with each member overseeing specific service portfolios. Decisions can be made collectively at Cabinet meetings or individually by portfolio holders, depending on the nature and implications of the decision. A forward plan outlines upcoming decisions.
