Investment Committee

The Investment Committee provides strategic oversight for the implementation of the council's Asset Investment Strategy. It makes decisions on acquiring investment land and property, and development opportunities, while scrutinising business cases against the approved Asset Investment Policy. The committee also reviews the performance of the investment portfolio, ensuring it meets financial benchmarks and manages identified risks. It agrees strategies for underperforming assets and provides an annual report to the Audit Committee.
