Cabinet voted and agreed on
an amendment to the recommendations, as detailed in bold and italics
at decision No. 1 below:

That having had due regard to the integrated impact assessment, capital
funding of £2,000,000 be taken from the underspends identified from 2024/2025
financial year and the remainder be allocated from the Neighbourhood
Improvement Programme Fund, to facilitate refurbishment of the 16 playgrounds
listed below:

That delegated authority be granted to the Director of Environment and
Regeneration to commence procurement for the refurbishment of the aforementioned playgrounds, and to award a contract in
accordance with Neath Port Talbot Council’s Contract Procedure Rules, to the
most economically advantageous tenderer.
