About
The Planning Committee is a formal meeting of councillors responsible for making decisions on specific planning applications within Newark and Sherwood. The committee's remit is determined by the Council's Scheme of Delegation, which outlines which applications are presented for determination.
For each application, a detailed report is prepared, including site descriptions, relevant planning policies, public representations, and an officer's recommended decision.
