Decision

That Cabinet:

a)       notes the recommendation to increase resources as set out in section 3.6 of the report;

b)      approves the required HRA budget for 2026-27 of £527,920 and the funding route as set out in section 4 of the report;

c)       approves the required HRA budget for 2027-28 onwards (£608,740 for 27/28, £639,740 for 28/29 and £667,980 for 29/30), including realignments from the efficiency savings, the contractual services budget and the additional budget required to be added into the base budget as set out in section 4 of the report;

d)      approves the purchase of additional vans (with associated running costs) noting that the capital cost will be funded from the HRA and that General Fund running costs will be recharged to the HRA through a technical virement); and

e)       notes that the roles will support improved performance for repairs and empty homes and strengthen support capacity to achieve sustained improvement.
