To seek approval for the refreshed Tenant Engagement Strategy 2026–2029, which reflects updated regulatory requirements and an enhanced, outcome-focused approach to tenant engagement.

Decision

That the Portfolio Holder for Housing approves the Tenant Engagement Strategy 2026–2029, reflecting tenant feedback and updated regulatory requirements.

Reasons for the decision

The updated Strategy is required to ensure the Council continues to meet its legal and regulatory obligations, whilst reflecting changes in how tenant engagement is delivered.  It strengthens governance, embeds engagement across all services, and introduces a clearer focus on demonstrating the impact of tenant feedback on service delivery.
