The Corporate Director of Inclusive Economy and Housing decided on 18/02/2025 to award contracts for internal refurbishment works. This decision was made following a procurement exercise for the Canning Town and Custom House regeneration programme. The decision included approving the award of three separate contracts to successful bidders for internal property refurbishment works.

The Cabinet decided on 04/02/2025 to continue delivery of the Carpenters Estate Restoration and Regeneration scheme based on an updated strategy and viability assessment. This included approving entry into a Section 106 Agreement and approving an updated Vacant Possession Strategy. The Cabinet also approved an updated strategy for Phase 2, Lund Quarter, expanding it and increasing the development cost and professional fees. Additionally, the Cabinet approved an increased budget for the James Riley Point development and the revised scope and commencement of its enabling works.
