The Mayor and Cabinet agreed to receive and allocate £1.5 million in capital funding from the central government's Pride in Place Impact Fund. This funding will be spent on capital projects that enhance public spaces, community facilities, and town centres across three parliamentary constituencies. Authority was delegated to the Corporate Director of Inclusive Economy, Housing and Culture, in consultation with the Lead Member, to agree the allocation of funding across projects.

The Corporate Director of Adults and Health, in consultation with the Lead Member for Health and Adult Social Care, agreed to procure a new contract for a Pre-Paid Card Account Service. This contract is for the provision of a Pre-Paid Card Account Service for a period of four years commencing on 01.10.2023, with an option to extend for two years.

The Corporate Director of Environment and Sustainable Transport, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Environment, Highways and Sustainable Transport, approved mitigation measures for Healthy School Streets Phases 1 and 2. These measures include changes to exemptions for blue badge holders and licensed taxis, and extensions or reductions of certain zones.

The Overview and Scrutiny Committee decided to take no further action regarding the Cabinet Decision on the Victoria Street Options Appraisal Report. This means the Cabinet's decision to proceed with the demolition and rebuilding of 10 Victoria Street to provide 122 new homes stands.

The Corporate Director of Environment & Sustainable Transport, in consultation with the Corporate Director of Resources, agreed to award a contract for the supply of Gas to Liquid (GTL) fuel for Newham's fleet. This contract is for a period of 2 years with the option of an additional 1 year, commencing September 2023.
