The Corporate Director of Inclusive Economy and Housing awarded a contract for an architect-led multi-disciplinary design team to support the delivery of RIBA Stage 3 and 4 design for the Custom House Masterplan remaining sub-phases on 13/12/2023.

The Cabinet agreed in principle to adopt the Beckton Parks Masterplan and noted the proposed phased delivery framework on 30th January 2024. This masterplan includes a new community farm with a green skills hub, enhancements to the lake with a potential lido, an inclusive play park, woodland improvements, refurbishment of Will Thorne Pavilion, and improved safety, walking, and cycling routes.

The Director of Public Health and Communities awarded a contract to Community Barnet (CB Plus) for Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector Infrastructure and Capacity Building for the period 2024-2027 on 13th December 2023.
