Purpose

Cabinet is asked to approve the Annual Procurement Forward Plan

Decision

For the reasons set out in this report and its appendices, Cabinet RESOLVED to Agree:

i)  To approve the procurements listed within Appendix 1 – Annual Procurement Plan 2026/27;

ii)  To delegate authority to the relevant Corporate Director in consultation with the relevant Lead Cabinet Member, the Assistant Director of Procurement, Head of Legal Services and Director of Finance (Deputy Section 151 Officer) to take all steps and enter into all documentation to put the decision at paragraph 2.1 into effect.

iii)  To note the mitigations set out at paragraph 4.3 and that further reports will be brought to Cabinet as necessary.

Alternatives Considered

Not publishing an Annual Procurement Plan 2026/27 would result in a lower level of transparency and forward planning. It would also result in higher level of individual Cabinet Reports for each procurement activity to be reported individually.
