The Officer Key Decision of Newham Council on 29 April 2026 approved the allocation of £1,110,770.50 in NCIL funding to 134 People Powered Places projects for 2025-27. This decision was made by Maria G. Christofi, Interim Assistant Chief Executive – Change & Improvement & Corporate Director of Resources (Section 151 Officer). The decision also approved the withdrawal and closure of the Plaistow Eco Hub legacy project and a three-month feasibility period for the Walton Road Community Gardens legacy project.
