Rebecca Johnson, Corporate Director of Environment and Sustainable Transport, approved the extension of the enforcement concession contract for two years on 21 April 2026. The extension is for environmental enforcement services and is nil cost to the council, with an estimated income of £2m. This decision allows for proactive street patrols and other initiatives to reduce environmental crime and fly-tipping.
