The Cabinet decided to approve the Medium Term Financial Strategy update on 21/07/2026. The decision approves the strategy as the basis for ongoing budget planning. The council will begin work to find savings totalling £10.000m to balance the budget in 2029/30, with £6.000m to be implemented early.
