Newham Council's Corporate Director of Inclusive Economy and Housing, Paul Kitson, approved the council's entry into grant funding agreements with Homes England on 04/09/2026. The decision allows the council to receive £1.335m in pre-tender support and further sums for cladding remediation at Aubrey Moore Point and Albert Bigg Point. This includes appointing a consultant for pre-tender development activities and subsequent procurement of cladding remediation works.
