About

The Finance, Audit and Risk Committee (FAR) oversees the Council's governance and ensures effective operational processes. It has a statutory role in approving the Council's accounts and Annual Governance Statement. The committee monitors the work of Internal Audit, the Anti-Fraud service, and External Auditors to ensure proper procedures are followed. It also supports the Cabinet by reviewing financial reports and risk management processes.
