The Commercial Cabinet Member is responsible for executive decisions relating to the council's commercial property and investment strategy, traded services, fleet management, corporate landlord functions, and bereavement services. This includes making decisions on the sale, purchase, acquisition, and disposal of land and property that fall outside of officer delegation. The committee's remit also covers strategic leadership for markets and commercial development across various sectors, including schools, public, private, and voluntary organisations.
