The Community Wellbeing (Urban - Ashby, Bottesford and Scunthorpe) Cabinet Member is responsible for executive decisions and policy-making across North Lincolnshire concerning community safety, public space enforcement, and cultural and leisure services. This includes areas such as safer neighbourhoods, community wardens, CCTV, libraries, and the Discover at 20-21 centre. The role also covers culture, heritage, arts, museums, Normanby Hall, markets, and investment in leisure and culture assets. Additionally, it involves promoting leisure, outdoor activities, sports, and positive activities within the urban communities of Ashby Central, Ashby Lakeside, Bottesford, Brumby, Crosby and Park, Frodingham, Kingsway, Lincoln Gardens, and Town, in collaboration with the Rural Cabinet Member.
