The Resident Engagement & Rural Partnerships Cabinet Member is responsible for decisions and policy-making related to how the council interacts with residents and external organisations. This includes managing relationships with town and parish councils, overseeing citizen and public engagement initiatives like the Residents' Panel, and handling council-wide stakeholder consultations. The role also covers customer services, information provision, customer representation and complaints, building capacity within the voluntary and community sector, and engagement with the Rural Services Network.
