Standards Committee

The Standards Committee promotes high standards of conduct for councillors and co-opted members across North Lincolnshire, including its town and parish councils. It advises the council on its code of conduct, manages the registration of interests, and provides guidance and training. The committee considers complaints about alleged breaches of the code of conduct, making assessments and determinations where appropriate. It also considers requests for dispensations from interest requirements and exemptions for politically restricted officers.
