Reasons for the decision

To support the regeneration of the Town Centre through Culture and transformation of the cultural offer though excellence.

Support addressing the objectives and aims of Scunthorpes Town Investment Plan, North Lincolnshire’s: emerging Cultural Futures Strategy, and Economic Growth Plan.

Alternative options considered

Do not commence a tender exercise to procure a Design and Build specialist Contractor. This would cause a delay to the design, development, and delivery of this intervention.
