Approval to utilise the contractual
arrangement in place with Capita to provide an agency worker for up
to 6 months to give additional support to the Building Control team
due to ongoing vacancies.

Reasons for the decision

To provide additional capacity and resilience
to Building Control via a resilience partner.

Alternative options considered

To do nothing. Doing nothing would cause
additional stress to the team and creates potential delays in
reporting.
