Decision

To approve taking a lease of 1c Reginald Road,
Scunthorpe in accordance with section 6.6 of the council's approved
scheme of delegation to officers and appointment of proper
officers.

Reasons for the decision

Taking the lease would provide temporary
accommodation for homeless people to meet the needs of various
service areas across the council. This would reduce the reliance on
Bed and Breakfast accommodation and the pressures on the council's
revenue budgets.

Alternative options considered

To not take the lease. Not taking the lease
would not provide temporary accommodation for homeless people to
meet the needs of various service areas across the council. It
would not reduce the reliance on Bed and Breakfast accommodation
and the pressures on the council's revenue budgets.
