council's liability in terms of holding vacant property.

Alternative options considered

Not agreeing the reduction in sale price would
result in retention of the property and the need to remarket for
sale. Liability for the vacant property would remain with the
council it terms of holding vacant property. Responsibility for
repairs, maintenance and day to day management and security would
remain with the council until another sale is agreed and
completed.
