Decision

Authorisation was given to extend the
completion date of the agreement under S278 of the Highways Act
1980 for a development off Scotter Road South, Bottesford from 31
August 2025 to 31 August 2027 without amendment of the supporting
bond.

Reasons for the decision

The completed S278 agreement supports
development and permits the council to adopts the roads, footways,
verges, swales and highway drainage once the development has been
completed to the council's requirements.

The S278 agreement can only legally last for two years and requires
an extension of time if works aren't completed at the end of the
two year period. This development is not completed and the
agreement needs extending.
