Decision

To approve termination of existing occupation
agreements, grant of a new temporary licence agreement and grant of
a long term lease of Epworth Children's Centre in accordance with
Section6.6 of the council's approved scheme of delegations to
officers and appointment of proper officers.

Reasons for the decision

The proposal will result in the transfer of
the Children's Centre to a new tenant for the delivery of SEND
provision and will ensure the continued use of the premises for an
out of school club. The new tenant would take over management and
maintenance of the building with the associated costs that
accompanies such responsibility.

Alternative options considered

For the premises to remain in the control of
the council and the council being responsible for maintenance and
running costs associated with the building.
