To award the contract for the supply of mobile
voice and data to the preferred bidder following a compliant
procurement exercise.

Reasons for the decision

To support agile and mobile workers with
mobile network access through a Voice and Data package. Mobile
Voice and Data would be provided at the best price with maximum
coverage within the rural communities.

Alternative options considered

To not award the contract. This would see the
council out of contract, reverting to using pay as you go tariffs,
which would result in significantly increased costs.
