Decision

To approve the lease of land at Central Park
(part), Kingsway, Scunthorpe in accordance with section 6.6 of the
council's approved scheme of delegations to officers and
appointment of proper officers.

Reasons for the decision

The lease of the land would enable Baby
Rainbow Memorial Gardens to continue maintaining the memorial
gardens at their expense.

Alternative options considered

To retain the land without granting the lease.
This option would mean the gardens would continue to be a liability
for the council to maintain.
