Decision

The bond amount securing the agreement under
Sections 38 and 278 of the Highways Act 1980 to be reduced from
£121,600 to £12,160 for a residential development off
East Common Lane, Scunthorpe (PA/2022/866).

Reasons for the decision

The S38 Agreement supports development and
permits the Council to adopt the roads, footways, verges, swales,
and highway drainage once the development has been completed to the
council’s requirements.
Following a site inspection, the works are complete, and the site
can be placed on maintenance, with the bond being reduced to 10% of
the original bond amount.
