To adopt the revised Food, Feed and Health & Safety Service Plans for 2023/24

Reasons for the decision

There is a statutory requirement to continually review these Service Plans. In consideration of the review of Food, Feed and Health & Safety Service Plan 2023/24 Report. It is agreed that the updated Service Plans be adopted, in order to comply with the Council Statutory requirements and ensure the planned interventions reflect the current Service demands.

Alternative options considered

Consideration was given to not adopting the reviewed Service Plans and to continue with the previous plans.

However, it would risk being out of date in terms of the planned number of interventions, which would not reflect current service demands.
