To award a contract for the provision of the
Burial & Cremation software.

Reasons for the decision

To enable the council to have a compliant
contract enabling a cloud based solution, with use of inhouse
skills. This would ensure the council has a fully supported
application with the ability to deliver modern service
operations.

Alternative options considered

To award to the incumbent supplier would place
the council at high risk of an out of date, server-based solution
with no developments being available.
