Decision

To approve the new Leases to Scunthorpe Sea
Cadet Corps of the existing premises at Wragby Road Scunthorpe for
another 21 years, in accordance with section 8.11.1 of the
council’s approved scheme of delegations to officers and
appointment of proper officers.

Reasons for the decision

A report presented by the Head of Development
detailing the proposed Leases renewals.

Alternative options considered

Not to renew the leases now but wait for the
Scunthorpe Sea Cadet Corps to serve notice for new leases on the
same terms under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 when the existing
agreements finish on 14 January 2025.
