To approve the Procurement of a new Box Office
system for Scunthorpe Theatres.

Reasons for the decision

The contract with the current provider is due
to come to an end in
September 2024, and advance planning is needed to ensure an
effective transition.

A new system is sought which will allow the theatres to manage
all
aspects of the customer booking experience, give access to
our
customer data, improve the relationship with our customers,
and
improve the effectiveness of our marketing activity.

Alternative options considered

To renew the contract with the current
supplier for a further three years.

Customers would need to continue paying high booking fees,
the
reputation of our venues suffer as a result, and we would be unable
to
capitalise on potential revenue gains. We would also not have
access
to any meaningful customer data, which means the effectiveness of
our marketing activity would be compromised.
