To adopt the revised Food, Feed and Health and
Safety Service Plans for 2022/23

Reasons for the decision

There is a statutory requirement to
continually review Service Plans. In consideration of the, Review
of Food, Feed and Health & Safety Service Plan 2022/23 Report.
It is agreed that the updated Service Plans be adopted, in order to
comply with the Council Statutory requirements and ensure the
planned interventions reflect the current Service demands

Alternative options considered

Consideration was given to not adopting the
reviewed Service Plans and to continue with the previous plans.
However, the previous plans don’t incorporate any recovery
plan following the COVID 19 pandemic. It would also risk being out
of date in terms of the planned number of interventions, which
would not reflect current service demands.
