To seek approval to begin the procurement process for a North Lincolnshire Built Facilities Strategy funded by Sport England’s Development Award through the Sport England Framework.

Reasons for the decision

There is a need to renew the North Lincolnshire Council Built Facilities Strategy to provide a robust, up to date assessment of the adequacy, quality, accessibility and future needs of indoor and built sports and community facilities across the authority area.

The strategy will update and supersede previous built facilities evidence and provide a clear basis for policy development, infrastructure planning over the plan period and developer contributions
