Decision

The Director Communities approved the approach to deliver the Winter 2026 Holiday Activities and Food Programme, inviting applications from eligible providers and exploring opportunities for direct delivery through Council services and assets.

A formal application process will be undertaken to ensure that the grant is distributed in a way that achieves the best outcomes for children and families and in accordance with the requirements of the grant.

Reasons for the decision

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme provides funded opportunities for children and young people who are eligible for Targeted free school meals to access activities within their local communities during the school holidays.

Approving the allocation of funding will enable the delivery of a diverse and enriching programme of activities across North Lincolnshire.
