Resolved
that Place and Environment Scrutiny Committee
recommend to the Executive:

(i)
 That the site
known as Irthlingborough Chippings
Store be disposed of, as it is surplus to requirements;
(ii)
  regarding
Beech Close, the Executive be requested to write to the new
government, with the support of MPs, to request financial support
to enable the building of new council homes on this site, instead
of disposing of it at the current time;
(iii)          that information
on the disposal of surplus assets be reported to members via a
written member briefing note, and should a site be
considered contentious or
debatable, that members ask the chair of the Scrutiny Management
Board, if a report could be added to the
workplan to be presented to committee.
