Resolved that Place and Environment Scrutiny Committee recommends that a report on the regulations for the new extension to Shire Lodge Cemetery be submitted to the Executive and that the committee:

(i)            notes and welcomes the information that a report on the provision of green burials will be presented to a future EAP;

(ii)           The extension area at Shire Lodge Cemetery be a Lawn Cemetery;

(iii)          that the digging of new graves will be to a single depth;

(iv)         that the opening hours be standardised to match cemeteries across North Northamptonshire.

(v)          that the proposed Lawn Cemetery Regulations relating to the new Shire Lodge Extension be approved.
