The decision relates to the role of the Council in the
undertaking of works for the building of a wall along the section
of a bank of a watercourse which forms part of the properties in
Warren Bridge for the purpose of protecting properties from the
effects of flooding from the watercourse.
The Council has agreed to enter into an agreement with the
property owners, who have formed a company for the purpose of
managing the carrying out of the works.  The
Council will document its obligations and liabilities in connection
with the arrangement by it for the undertaking of the
works.  The Council will enter into an Escrow,
the costs of the works being met by a FCERM grant provided by the
Environment Agency and a contribution by the property owners
affected.
